About Us

In the winter of 1983, Louisiana farmer Grady "Bubber" Brown faced a problem that every farmer in the Delta knew too well, the end of harvest season meant saying goodbye to his workers for months. Instead of accepting that reality, Bubber did something remarkable. He gathered his mother's time-honored secret recipe for pepper sauce and put his crew to work cooking, bottling, and storing that first batch.

That first batch sold out in three months, and the Panola Pepper Corporation was born. Right on the Farm, Mr. Bubber's daughter Katie Coullard is now at the helm of the family business, over 40 years later, we are still right here in Lake Providence, Louisiana, right on the farm where it all began.

What started as one hot sauce recipe has grown into more than 100 unique products including hot sauces, BBQ sauces, wing sauces, marinades, and drink mixes.

Community First, Always! Mr. Bubber did not start Panola Pepper to get rich. He started it to give back, to provide steady jobs in one of Louisiana's most rural communities. That mission has never changed. Every bottle you buy supports the good people of Lake Providence area who show up every day to make it.

Your purchases of our products serve the good of the Land, the People, and our Country and for that, we are grateful.
