Turkey Jambalaya


  • 1 pkg. Panola Jambalaya Rice Mix
  • 8 oz. Smoked Sausage
  • 1 lb. leftover Turkey (roasted, smoked, or fried)
  • ½ chopped onion
  • ½ chopped bell pepper
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 tbs. butter
  • 4 cups chicken broth


Brown the sausage in a nonstick pan at medium heat. Remove the sausage from the pan, and set aside. Saute onion, bell pepper, and celery in the the same pan you cooked the sausage in, using the drippings from the sausage. Add 2 tbs butter, 4 cups chicken broth, and Panola Jambalaya Rice Mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Add the turkey and sausage, cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Quick, easy, and absolutely delicious!

If you like it a little spicier, add Panola Gourmet Hot Sauce or Panola Cajun Hot Sauce.
