Jalapeno Mint Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons green crème de menthe
  • 1 ½ cups fresh mint, chopped
  • 1/3 cup Panola Spicy Sweet Jalapeno Peppers, chopped
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine and heat the first 3 ingredients.
  2. Dissolve the sugar.
  3. Add the mint and Jalapenos and bring to a boil.
  4. In a separate saucepan, combine the cold water and gelatin.
  5. Heat to dissolve the gelatin.
  6. Combine gelatin mixture with mint mixture and stir thoroughly.
  7. Refrigerate overnight to set.
  8. Stir before serving.
