Crockpot Pot Roast

Sprinkle the roast with Panola Worcestershire Powder, Panola Meat Seasoning, and garlic powder. Cover the roast with seasoning. Don’t be scared. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Heat oil in a cast iron skillet. Brown the roast on all sides. Once it is browned, place it in the crockpot. Turn the heat down slightly to a medium heat and add the mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and stir to scrape of the tidbits on the skillet. Add in the beef broth. You will add a couple cups but just use your judgement. Make it a little on the thick side as it will get thinner in the crockpot while it cooks. Pour it over the roast, cover it, and cook on low heat for 6 hours. When you get home from work, throw in the potatoes and carrots and cook for another hour. Delicious!
